All Saints goes Green

All Saints Church, Thelwall, has committed to obtaining the A Rocha Bronze Eco-Church Award, and as part of this we have let some of the churchyard remain uncut from the start of May. We have now installed a “Bug Hotel” in the Conservation Area, and will be adding a Bee Hotel, and a couple of bird boxes through the summer. Come along to the church, find the Bug Hotel and see what minibeasts you can spot, then take a picture and upload using the iNaturalist App on your phone. Its fun, and is all part of the a “Churches Count on Nature” project, where we are seeing how we can contribute to bio-diversity in our church grounds.
