Children and Young People

At All Saints we have lots going on for children, young people and families. Some events take place in church and others in the Parish Hall. Please look out for our publicity given out via the schools and Parish magazine. You are welcome to come along to any or all events.

Sunday Club – Supervised activities take place at the back of church at 10am during Sunday morning services, except family services on 1 st Sunday of the month and any special services.

Praise & Play – for pre-school children and babies and whoever is looking after them. The sessions take place at the back of church on 1 st and 3 rd Thursday of the month from 1.30-2.30pm except during the month of August. Join us in exploring the Christian Faith with songs, stories, craft and refreshments.

Messy Church – takes place throughout the year at the Parish Hall, for families of all ages. Come along for craft and games, stories, song, prayer and food. Look out for our publicity for future dates. All take place from 3-5pm on a Sunday afternoon apart from Messy harvest which takes place at the same time on a Saturday afternoon.

Story time – takes place in church during our darker months. Come in your PJ’s/Onesies for stories with candles and fairy lights, ending with a song then hot chocolate and toast. Sessions take place on Sundays from 5-6pm. Look out for future dates in our parish magazine and via the schools.

Board Fridays – for secondary school age (can take year 6 too). Takes place on Fridays at the Parish hall from 7-10pm. A wide range of traditional and new board games plus refreshments from Pip’s cereal bar. Look out for future dates.

Other family events include: Craft, carols and cakes in December and Easter egg hunt
