The Annual Home Alone Lunch continues to be very well attended each year.  Everyone enjoys the entertainment and sing a-long. The guests make generous contributions to our chosen charity this year we gave the money towards the Parish Hall Car-Park.  Outreach Group are very grateful to the Rose Queen Committee for paying for the lunch and for all the Church Members who made the soup and sweets.

The Chill and Chat group has gone from strength to strength.  They meet every month on the first Wed and we try to arrange for a speaker and we have enjoyed talks on life in Australia, a trip to India, life in an Orphanage in Africa and cruising. There is a couple of trips out during the year, such as Bodnant Gardens or National Memorial Arboretum.  The last trip was to Trentham Gardens.  We finish the year with singing carols interspersed with poetry and enjoy mince pies.

There are other annual events like a spring BBQ and songs of praise. Our Remembering the Loved Ones is well attended and everyone was invited to bring a flower for the flower arrangement and join us to reflect over light refreshments.

The Easter Egg Hunt with outdoor play area attracts lots of visitors and the high attendance last year needed extra supplies of cakes and Easter Eggs and is a great afternoon.

As a church we have held a Harvest Lunch which is always well supported and had Holy Communion prior. Alternate years we have had cake and tea after Holy Communion at 4pm.

In December there is an afternoon tea, cake and carols.

We work with the Primary School to offer Experiences of the church festivals like Easter, Pentecost, Harvest and the Church on a rotating programme. We also regularly visit the primary and infant schools with Open The Book bible story presentations with a team of helpers. The schools also have the opportunity to come into church.
