Gwennant Davies – PCC Member & Eco-Church
I was brought up in South Wales. My dad was a Welsh Baptist minister for 60 of his 90 year life. My mum died at an early age when my sister and I were in our teenage years but her very strong faith was an inspiration and I was baptised by my dad when I was 19. When he remarried I was his best man!
After 6 years of teaching in Stourbridge I decided to move into youth work. I have experience of managing youth work in Trafford, Wigan and Bury. After the demise of the Youth Service I returned to teaching and have worked at different levels in schools throughout the North West. I am now semi retired but have set up and am running a part time garden design support project and at present this has included developing a Japanese garden.
