Christmas ShoeBox Appeal
Operation Christmas Child is appealing for shoeboxes full of presents to send to areas of need around the world.
This year the concentration in on Ukraine, and many of the shoeboxes from Thelwall, and from Warrington will be sent to children in Ukraine to arrive before Christmas. Our own Colin Horrabin visited Ukraine a few years ago to see their work, and we are all now distressed to see the people that we helped who are now in a war zone.
Please help us by providing a shoebox and if, like me, you are unsure what to put into your shoebox, why not visit the church on Saturday 5th November, or after church on Sunday 6th November, when for a fee of £12 to cover the gifts, our experts will pack a shoebox for you?
