Vicar’s Article: Christian Aid Week:11-17 May – Make a difference!
As Christians, we are called to love our neighbours – not just in words, but through our actions, too. Christian Aid is one of the ways we can live out this calling. Every gift, no matter the size, helps bring hope and support to people facing poverty, injustice, and crisis around the world.
By giving to Christian Aid, we’re helping communities access clean water, education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods. We’re standing in solidarity with those who suffer, offering more than charity – we’re offering dignity and empowerment.
This is not just about giving money; it’s about sharing God’s love and justice with a hurting world. Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus, reaching out to lift others up.
All Saints church and Thelwall village have always been big supporters of Christian Aid. Let’s continue our generosity. Keep an eye out for the red gift envelope in the parish news. Together, we can be part of lasting change. Thank you.
