Vicar’s Article: Christian Aid Week: Every Kindness Counts, Every Action Matters

Christian Aid’s vision is to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty.
And Christian Aid Week (10-16 May) is an invitation to be involved in making that vision a reality. It reminds us that small acts, like giving, praying, or simply spreading the Christian Aid message – can change lives far beyond our own village of Thelwall.
Whether you sponsor the Whittakers & Speeds on their walk, come to the coffee morning in church (14 May), or attend our Christian Aid service (17 May), you are part of something bigger: a shared hope rooted in love.
This year, why not take one simple step? A conversation, a donation, or a moment of prayer could make all the difference. Every kindness counts, and every action matters.
