Messy Harvest
Vicar’s Article Harvest: Bank Your Generosity!
Harvest Festival is a time to pause and give thanks for the abundance many of us enjoy – fresh food, hearty meals, and the changing beauty of the season.
It’s also a time to reflect on those who may be facing difficult choices between heating and eating. For such as these, Foodbanks provide vital support. But foodbanks, especially in Warrington, need our help. So how can we respond?
Why not bring donations of tinned and packet food to our Harvest Service on Sunday 5th October at 10am? We will then transport everything to the Warrington distribution centre on Riverside Retail Park.
Through our harvest gifts, we share not only food but also hope. And, also, we live out the values at the heart of our Christian faith – compassion, generosity, and love for our neighbour. This Harvest, give thanks through giving back, and bring light into someone else’s time of need. Thank YOU!

We’d welcome the following harvest parcels: Tins & Packet Food for the local Foodbank, and Flowers (not fruit & veg) for housebound, bereaved & sick. Thank you!
