We started 2016 with our Annual Home Alone Lunch which is very well attended each year. Everyone enjoys the entertainment and sing a long.
The start of a newer Group Chill and Chat group has gone from strength to strength. They meet every month the first Wed and we try to arrange for a speaker and we have enjoyed talks on life in Australia, a trip to India, life in an Orphanage in Africa. There are a couple of trips out during the year, such as the recent Bodnant Garden visit. In November we fill shoe boxes for Samaritans Purse and finish the year with singing carols interspersed with poetry.
In June we had a special jubilee service and lunch to celebrate the Queens Jubilee and over 100 people came along.
We have our annual Harvest Supper which is always well supported.
In December there is an afternoon tea and carols
We will be hold an Experience each year – Harvets, Easter or Pentecost for a primary age audience.
There are other annual events like a spring BBQ, baptism service, songs of praise.
